About

Liběna Černohorská is an Associate professor at the Institute of Economics Science at the Faculty of Economics and Adminimistration at the UPCE. At the same time, she fulfills the role of Vice-Rector for Internal Affairs. She holds the title of associate professor in the field of Economic Policy from the Prague University of Economics and Business. The focus of pedagogical expertise corresponds to the field of education with a focus on monetary policy. The main focus is the decision-making and implementation of central bank measures that affect the amount of money in circulation and interest rates. Other areas of interest are economic interactions between different countries. She completed many stays abroad, during which she lectured mainly on monetary policy in the European Union and in the Czech Republic, and macroeconomic developments in the Czech Republic and Central Europe. She is a member of the editorial board of an international scientific journals. During the last five years, she was a member of research teams studying the impact of the normalisation of interest rates on risk management and innovative approaches to credit risk management and one contract research in banking and financial markets. Her work having been presented in various conferences and scientific journals worldwide, she is the author or co-author of over 50 scientific articles and journal papers. She is a member of UNILEAD, association of universities across the Czech Republic interested in sustainable development, and a member of the working group for sustainability of the Czech Rectors' Conference, which coordinates the development of sustainability at Czech universities.
