Prof. Jan Stejskal, Ph.D.
About
Jan Stejskal is a full professor in the field of Regional and Social Development, as well as Public Economics and Services at the Faculty of Economics and Administration, University of Pardubice. He currently serves as the dean and guarantor of the master's degree program International Business Management and doctoral study program Regional and Public Economics. He has experience in international pedagogical and scientific cooperation, and is the principal researcher of many scientific grants. He is currently one of the Coordinators of the Joint Master's in Financial Data Analytics and Sustainable Finance for the Czech side. He teaches the course Research Methods, where he presents findings from scientific work with many international teams, as well as from the preparation of dozens of publications in prestigious international journals and conferences. His research focus is on the effectiveness of state interventions (specifically in the provision of public services), management and sustainability.
